Discovery Dumps Armstrong; Sheryl Pleased

Discovery Channel will pull out of its sponsorship duties of former Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong's team after this season. The team will still race under the Discovery banner in 2007, including the Tour de France, but must find a new sponsor for 2008, Bill Stapleton, Armstrong's longtime agent and general manager of the team, said Friday.

Is it any wonder Discovery got squeamish? After all, would you want to sponsor Ivan "the human blood lab" Basso? It's like signing John Wayne Gacy as pitchman for Dora the Explorer, only more gruesome.

The petulant Armstrong has not released a statement yet, but once he does he'll say it with a Tony Montana accent and it'll probably go something like, "They pull out? No, I pull out. You wanna waste my time? Okay. I call my lawyer. He's the best lawyer in Miami. He such a good lawyer, that by tomorrow morning, Discovery gonna be working in Alaska. They better dress warm."

Once again Mr. 60% has lost his cuban-american mind. Discovery LOVES Alaska! Discovery has a innuit wife and three eskimo children. I mean for God's sake! He sends 4 seal pelts up there a month!
Here's some "discovery" for Mr. 60%, go to their website, print out the logo onto iron on paper (available at Staples) get some white haines t-shirts, and "discover" yourself.
See you tonight... ;-)
